| Carbohydrate Analysis Chromatography Media Based on our world leading particle technology, Knowledge & Benefit Tech. developed a complete line of carbohydrate analysis chromatography media, which were prepared by highly monodisperse sulfonating poly(styrene-co-divynylbenzene) microspheres with 3 different crosslinking degree at 5%, 8% and 10%. The chromatography media were chelated with various metal ions such as sodium (Na+), calcium (Ca2+), potassium (K+), and plumbum (Pb2+). The separation mechanism for the chromatography media includes ion-exchange and hydrophilic interactions with the analytes, such as carbohydrates and organic acids. The separation mechanism could also be due to size exclusion, ion exclusion, and ligand exchange. These multiple modes of interaction enable a unique capability to separate a variety of water soluble compounds. Knowledge & Benefit Tech’s highly uniform chromatography media can guarantee the high efficiency and recovery rate in separation of carbohydrate. Fig. 3.
